Contemplative Complexities

Stirring in my mind,
a slew of thoughts
that affect my sleep...
nothing too deep
just annoying things really;
quirks and patterns I see
that really shouldn't be
after all we are supposed to grow wiser with time, right?
I give the benefit of not having doubt
only to have similar patterns of my past resurface
in the ugliest of ways.
Am I hurt by it?
Yes,
somewhat,
more so relieved that I see it now
rather than later
because the complexities
of this contemplative conundrum
is tiring.

AAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

WOOOO! I had a life altering experience today! I rode on the back of a motorcycle going 80 m.p.h. The guy riding me on the back of his bike was a muscled-cutie to boot. The night air was whipping my face and the little teenie bopper girls on the corners were hatin' big time. It scared the hell out of me but I had fun and I might do it again...

Having Fun in Life

Throughout my short lifetime so far I have learned that in order to be happy I have to do what makes me feel good as long as it isn't immoral or hurtful to anyone. I was out of the door at 6:15 a.m. this morning, not to go to a J.O.B. but to go see Steve Harvey air his radio show live in the Prince Music Theater in Philadelphia. I took a picture with Steve's nephew Tommy and I had such a wonderful time. Steve will be returning to Philly in the spring for a comedy show (I'm going!) at the Liacouras Center. My high school reunion is also coming up and I am extra excited about that! I lost ten pounds without trying and I learned to drive. Everything I had been praying for is beginning to manifest. Thank you, thank you!
