The Queen Code

I came across this inspirational page on Facebook a few weeks ago. I am always looking for ways to improve myself and ways to work through my internal battles. Through the blog: The Queen Code I have been inspired during moments when I wanted to give up on myself.

 The messages are like pep talks from your best friend, who has seen you at your worst and loves you anyway.

I am excited to visit again and read some more of the Queen Code and unlock my inner Queendom.

Passion vs Paycheck

As the mother of teenagers I am a part of many conversations about life and the future. College is a beautiful aspiration, when you're not stressed about financial aid. But when a child expresses a desire to attend a vocational school who are we to dissuade her/him?

Education is supposed to be a guidepost for our life's passion. Our calling to help humanity - not just a fancy title and a big paycheck.

When we begin to aspire to reach for our life's purpose then we will attract all that we need. When we interact as a part of humanity's family there won't be anymore bombings, shootings, stabbing, lootings.

We need to rediscover our passion.
