I received this beautiful email this morning and boy did it make my day! Alumni Day was great and I am already anticipating the one for next year!

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to update you on what has been going on with the Alumni Association. On Friday, November 10th we held our first Happy Hour of the season. It was a great success. Please see pics from the night below and look out for the next one. Don't miss it!

On Wednesday, November 22nd we participated in the High School's Alumni Day. The class of 2006 really represented! And the rest of us old heads were there too. We gave away gift cards to AMC, Friday's, Starbucks, and an official signed copy of Entangled Hearts by our own Markisha Bunn~Class of 1997. We were entertained by the choir, cheerleading squad, and dance team. Hope to see more of you next year.

The Jokes Pour In...

Well, what is the world going to say about 'Kramer'? After all of the media attention for an opinion Mel Gibson voiced about Jewish people, have they banned together to apologized for the racial insults flung towards the two African American men at the comedy club 'Kramer' performed at last week? No! Is Mel Gibson right? Those two men were in the club to enjoy a laugh. They became the targets of racial slurs by a Jewish man who was not intoxicated in any form. That sounds like Mel was on the money, what do you think?

My second copyright came in the mail today!! I go back to my high school for a mini booksigning at Engineering and Science on Wednesday. What a way to kick off my Thanksgiving. Aahhhhh!!

The way the Lord works is mysterious indeed but I must say I love Him. He doesn't work on my time but He is always on time!

Moving and Shaking

I need to find an inexpensive copy place to print these fliers and bookmarks I've created. Stopped by my former job at Zion Baptist Church and spoke with Mr. Van Norton. He was so happy to see me and to hear that the boys are doing okay. I showed him pictures of my trio and he was surprised at how much they have grown. He informed me that as soon as I acquire extra fliers for Entangled Hearts to bring some by then he said I could definitely have a book signing there at the church. I want to steamroll through the end of this year into next year... CHOO CHOO, next stop OPRAH! OPRAH! OPRAH! (ROFL, I was having a Dave Chappelle moment).
